It is easy: just squeeze the grease gel onto any small crack and gap to block crawling insects, including ants.
• Bytrac serves as a long-term preventive measure against cockroach-infestation from at least 6 months up to a year depending on environmental conditions. Recommended to use with 0.5 – 1cm thickness (the hole size of the tube has been fixed for the optimum thickness and needs no special adjustment) of the gel layer, and the length will depend on the size of the target cracks and crevices. A tight and complete sealing with the gel is important to prevent the future reoccurrence of cockroaches:

• Housekeeping and cleaning is also essential to reduce the possibility of cockroach infiltration by reducing the amount of food and water left out on the counter/table. This practice alone will help create a non-preferable living environment for these cockroaches.

• Due to the cockroach’s unhygienic behaviour, they are considered one of the most dangerous disease transmitting insects, for they often carry diseases like diarrhoea, dysentery, cholera, leprosy, typhoid fever, etc.

• You find bird nests in your building at high, concealed, undisturbed, flat and hard-to-reach areas (flat roofs or gaps in tall buildings or residential houses)

What to do when you have bed bug problems:

• The most efficient way to kill bed bugs is by using the efficient aerosol (Control AIK aerosol) or spraying products (Defender, Ecosmart Bed Bug Killer for Cracks & Crevices or Ecosmart Bed Bug Killer for Mattress & Carpets) straight on them whenever you see them. If that is not possible, you may use those products on bed bug preferred areas directly: behind the head board (usually fabric or wooden-based materials), at/in the bed frame or the bed roller, if any; in the corner or along the mattress’ folded seams; in the pillow or mattress case; skirting board; behind the wall painting or photo; surrounding the nail on the wall; along the parquet floor, behind loose wallpapers and in and around any other concealed items within a 3-meter range from the bed.
• If they found their way into your luggage or similar items, use those aforementioned aerosol products on them, and do not forget to remove the item from the place where the bed bug activity is suspected.
• Under NO circumstance should you spray aerosol products on clothes or expensive items made from/with fabric. If you intend to do so anyway, please try a little bit on the target item first to ensure that you do not accidentally cause permanent damage/stain on the item in question. The reason for that is because such materials can’t be treated with any product; the suggested course of action would be to soak or wash it with hot water on at least 60°C for a minimum of 30 minutes, if possible, or try dry cleaning it with a chemical solvent called perchloroethylene (a.k.a “Perc”, or with symbol)

How to prevent bed bugs from ever coming back:

• Once accidentally brought into the house, bed bugs can reproduce and spread at an elevated rate. What I usually suggest is to carry out a good preventive measure within the confines of an exclusion plan – do not bring the bed bug back!
This can be done with caution if done the right way. Every time we go for a travel, pre-check the booked hotel room with a good torchlight (by paying particular attention to the mattresses and head board areas) before putting all of our luggage in one confined space. After our initial recon has been completed, spray the Ecosmart Bed bug Repellent on the outer casing of the luggage and surrounding the bed frame to keep yourself and the luggage safe from possible bed bug intrusion. Remember to double check your items before check-out to ensure you and your luggage is “clear” from unwanted bed bugs.
• I suggest applying the Bytrac repellent gel for safety purposes to seal off all possible cracks and crevices that are highly potential places bed bugs might hide within to catch a ride into your home. It is easy: just squeeze the grease gel onto any small crack and gap to block crawling insects, including the renowned bed bugs.

A tight and complete sealing with the gel is important to prevent the future reoccurrence of beg bugs.

• Until today, bed bug has not yet been reported to spread any serious disease, however, its bites can not only cause itchy swellings and dark patches but may also subsequently trigger the allergic reaction called urticarial reactions or anaphylaxis.
Also some people might also develop psychological symptom such as delusionary parasitosis (patients feel the bed bug is around and may develop some skin reaction even though there is no bed bug around).
• Bed bugs hatching from their eggs can grow up within 3-4 weeks, which means they grow exponentially every year. One female is able to produce 50-100 eggs, and within just a few months, a house can easily become heavily infested. Once they totally infiltrated the premises, it is going to be difficult to eradicate them.
• Tropical bed bug is dominant in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and other countries, because they can easily survive without food up to 1-2 months in the tropical climate.

• You find ant trails around food items or water nearby. It is easy to spot when there is an ant troop crawling up and down in a line around the house.
• You find a small piece of food that the ants have totally invaded.

What to do when you have ant-related problems:

• Directly apply the products called Ecosmart Ant & Roach Killer and Ecosmart Home Pest Control on the group of ants you want to terminate. This practice is a short-term solution, and it is only viable if you happen to find smaller groups of ants once in a while.
• If you want to scare the ant colony away, a more long-term solution would require the use of the Advion Ant Gel or Controz Ant Gel (they serve as baits to ants). When you apply the gel baiting, remember to place it near the edge of a wall and other suspected ant hiding places or active crawling areas for higher contact exposure. The ants exposed to the gel bait will take that bait back to their own colony nest and pass the same deadly effect along to the other ants, and thus bringing you a total victory over the whole ant colony. You may apply the gel in a size of a small green bean diameter (<5mm) but I advise you to use a little more from it for a more profound result.

• Ants can literally bring numerous diseases directly to your food sources and utensils if they happen to crawl through them.
• Some ants can bite or sting -or both- which is considered dangerous to humans as they may trigger allergic reactions. Such allergic reactions can often be serious to a point where hospitalization may become necessary.
• How big an ant colony may grow? There is no particular answer for that question, but one thing is for sure: as long as the food source is sufficient, ant colonies can keep on growing continuously. The recent record is held by an Argentine ant colony with billions of ants in its fold!
